i'm looking for a better replacement to my RC springs in the back. they're currently giving me 4.5" of lift, so I'd like to keep it around that.
I'm interested in the rubicon express ones, part number RE1463 which are the 3.5" ones. I read they net about 0.5 to an inch extra on what's advertised. Is that safe to assume or I should go with the 4.5" ones? I'd hate to have the back at 5-5.5" and needing to adapt the front with spacers. The way I see it is that if 3.5" are a little too low, I can still get higher shackles or shackle relocation brackets. What are your thoughts?
Other than the springs, bushings and u-bolts, do I need anything else? previous u bolts date from august 2015, do you think they could be reused? 60$ CAD for new ones is a bit steep so if I could save that, I will.

As for the axle U bolts, these are torque-to-yield fasteners and stretch when tightened. Head bolts in an engine are the same and can typically be reused once.
15" uncompressed...?

Switched to BDS 7-leaf.
Let me know what brand and lift size of leaf springs you are after and I will find you vendors.

I tow boats on a regular basis and I offroad too.
I'm looking to get atleast 2'' of lift since my original liftkit is a 2'' add-a-leaf but I won't mind if it's 2.5 inches.

I am having trouble filtering through all the info here. I Have a 1991 XJ and I am putting a 4.5" RC full suspension lift kit on it. Most likely going with 33's for tires but not set on that. Any suggestions? I am still trying to find out what other parts I will need to get.
I know I am going to need extended bump stops, but what else? Steering stabilizer? I am still not sure...
I am sorry I am asking something I am sure tons of people have asked before, but I can't seem to find the answers I am looking for on my own.
Thank you in advance to all of those that give me suggestions, I'm sure many of you have much more knowledge than I do.
