Quote: I've been looking into swapping out my rear leafs.
They've been used for 205K miles, 25K of which was driven by me (offroading/towing/etc.)
The Jeep has a 2'' lift (add-a-leaf) so I've been looking into buying leafs from this site;

Anyone here have experience with this company ?
I haven't, but man, that's a lot of money for springs... considering you could get two RE 3.5" lift springs for a little over half that.

Amazon.com: Rubicon Express RE1463 3.5" Leaf Spring for Jeep XJ: Automotive Amazon.com: Rubicon Express RE1463 3.5" Leaf Spring for Jeep XJ: Automotive

or these for even less

Amazon.com: Jeep Cherokee XJ Zone Offroad 3" Rear Leaf Spring Lift Kit for Dana 35: Automotive Amazon.com: Jeep Cherokee XJ Zone Offroad 3" Rear Leaf Spring Lift Kit for Dana 35: Automotive

both are well-known and very reputable lift companies.... ZONE is made by BDS suspension

I started out looking for ford f150 leafs since I didn't find any lift kits including them.
I ended up looking at leaf springs for my Jeep but only on that website.
Thankyou for posting them, but do any of them make leafs for 2'' lifts ?

Absolutely. Just type " 2" leaf spring jeep cherokee " in the search bar on amazon.... -OR- you could go to a junk yard and pull the leafs out of a dakota or s10 for much less than the cost of new springs... and fiddle with the leaf combinations until you get the ride height and stiffness you're desiring - up to 4" and down to... well... probably about 1.5"... but I don't know what combo of leafs that'd be.

Will need to find somewhere willing to ship to your tropical island. I imagine that would cost as much as the springs.

Import cost alone is price x 3 but I do ship regularly.
That's not the problem. The problem is finding the right leaf springs.

Thankyou for the reply tho

Skyjacker seems to have the leafs closest to my lift height. 2.5''
The price isn't too bad either, $200 for the full pack.

Old Man Emu sells a 2" leaf spring, and it's arguably the smoothest riding spring on the market for the Cherokee

i'm looking for a better replacement to my RC springs in the back. they're currently giving me 4.5" of lift, so I'd like to keep it around that.

I'm interested in the rubicon express ones, part number RE1463 which are the 3.5" ones. I read they net about 0.5 to an inch extra on what's advertised. Is that safe to assume or I should go with the 4.5" ones? I'd hate to have the back at 5-5.5" and needing to adapt the front with spacers. The way I see it is that if 3.5" are a little too low, I can still get higher shackles or shackle relocation brackets. What are your thoughts?

Other than the springs, bushings and u-bolts, do I need anything else? previous u bolts date from august 2015, do you think they could be reused? 60$ CAD for new ones is a bit steep so if I could save that, I will.

So I'm on a budget, and a buddy has his old coil springs for cheap. can I run 15 inch springs with 31s and not have to change control arms or regear? I don't want to get things like adj track bars and that extra crap if I don't have too.
