Thank you for your reply and ideas. I agree on the Black wheels. I have been saving for this project and have been wanting to do something like this for years. Therefore, I have the budget to get more expensive wheels. The soft 8's are so common around here. I like them though. I have been looking at some Fuel wheels. Some I have looked at have a 3.75 BS. Think that would be a problem? We have no issues with the police about wheels sticking out. I don't mind if they stick out a little. Any wheel ideas you have would be appreciated. My main goal with this 165K mile jeep since it is a 2wd is to have a great running and smooth riding weekender. Do you think the Durartacks will be quiet enough to meet my goal? The looks are prefect. I have really done a lot on the suspension and running gear. Doing it myself has been a challenge and lots of fun since this is my first attempt to do this. The seats and paint are not something I could do. All suggestions or ideas will be appreciated. Sandyman
Dayumn that's a sweet ride! The duratrac's are super quite on the road. Got a buddy that runs them on a Silverado you can barely hear them on the highway.

Dude. Your rig is ****ing immaculate. I am really impressed! I've run the DuraTrac's for my last two sets. Great road manners for sure, noise included. I want to say you'll be good for at least 50k miles. Not that snow is an issue for you, but should mother nature do what she does, they perform amazing in the snow. Glad that tire protrusion isn't an issue. That's lucky. 3.75" BS would be just about perfect for your look, IMHO. good stance and no clearance issues lock to lock. Proper bump stopping is necessary to prevent rubbing under flex, especially if you have disconnectable sway bars. One to two hockey pucks will do the trick!
After shining the rear in my 98 6 degrees I noticed it threw my shock mounts out of wak. I didn't think much of it at the time but now my rear shocks have become a bit squeaky and feel like they are getting more stiff. The shocks are Zone nitro shocks from the 3" full leaf kit. And have about 6000 miles on them. I would be leaning towards a bad shock except it's happening on both sides. Has anyone had to move there shock mounts due to similar issues? Is it recommended to perform such a relocation?
6* shims are a little extreme for a 3" lift. Have you checked the angles with an angle finder. I only run 4* on a 5.5" ish lift and my angles are dead on. But to answer your question, people relocate their rear shock mounts all the time. You can even get crossmembers that allow you to mount the tops in various locations.
