My Jeep has a 3.5 Rubicon Express lift installed but the back sits high and I have a 90 degree shackle angle. Could I just buy 1.5 inch rancho leafs and 1 inch lift shackles and shackle relocation brackets to get the 3.5 inch lift in back but also have a 45 degree shackle angle.

Why waste money on crap parts when you have some of the best leaf springs on the market (assuming that RE lift came with full leaf packs)? I recommend you buy the Iron Rock Offroad 0"-.75" shackles and no lift relocation brackets. Much better idea than those crap rancho leafs.

Default Low long arm kit

i am trying to find a long arm kit but stay as low as possible. I am not a crawler but that's fine at times. I want something that can run a bit faster on fire roads and trails and still ride well on the street. Any of you guys have some good suggestions? The shop I was gonna have do my lift suggested the RE 5.5 long arm kit and 33's but I think that is a bit tall for what I want.

LCOG is a well covered topic here. Do a Google or CF search for lcog setups. You will find lots of great info. Regardless, you can do 33's or even 35's on 2" if you are willing to trim and bumpstop. I'll see if I can't post a relevant link or two

If you don't want to go high stay away from the 5.5 RE kit. I'm running 4.5" RE springs and they sit more like a 6.5" lift. My XJ is only about an half inch lower than my buddies WJ with 6.5" IRO springs. RE makes great products but they net way more than advertised lift height.

Default Junkyard leaf lift?

Bought junkyard leafs from a supposedly lifted XJ. Is there any way to tell how much lift (if any) I'll get before I do all the work to actually install? They're s'posed to be 3", but I'm concerned (now....duh) that if they sag.....
Thanks ahead of time to all the wise-ones here.

Not without a part number, probably not. We may be able to tell you a brand if you post a picture

No luck with any answers yet in separate thread I started for this.Hey everyone. So the jeep I picked up over the winter haS an RC adjustable TB already installed. I was reading some threads one day where someone posted a pic for a totally different reason and someone pointed out to them that their TB was mounted wrong. Mine is mounted the same way and that's even how the instructions say to mount it. This is from the website.

I have a similar trackbar from RC. If the instructions say that is the way they are supposed to be installed then, that is the way it is supposed to be installed.

Isn't RC the same company with improper leaf spring size. Not too sure of their credibility.

The instructions are Not correct. Bushing should be at axle end. Reason is the bend in the bar. Look closely at the RC picture, the joint at the axle causes the bar to contact bracket. But bushing end is bent differently to clear axle bracket.
That's the fact jack

That, and it bugs me that they want you to use a metric wrench to tighten a standard bolt
