When you do get an adjustable tbar, IRO double shear is definitely the most popular choice. I haven't heard a bad thing about em.

my suspension is shot, one leaf pack has a broken leaf, my tires rub going over every bump... I want to get new suspension while my parents are offering me 200 to help... I only have about 5-600 total I can spend to get my jeep driving again ( my parents don't want me driving it with a broken leaf) that's why I'd rather go with a bracket now and an adjustable track bar later

I have 5" lift Synergy progressive rate coils and 33"s would rub the fender liner during turns. These coils sit 1" higher than Rubicon Express 4.5" coils.
Forgot to mention as the next post suggests, the rear fit fine with 33"s

I didn't have to trim my rear fenders or even take the flare off. Did have to trim the front though.

I have a '98 Sport and the springs are long past flat and shocks crumbling apart. The hight is down 1.5'' in the front and rear, I want to change them out for either a 2-3'' lift, and get wheels and tires later. I'm hoping to keep it under $500 so that will determine the hight in the end I'm sure. I have been following this thread for a while and see many people with similar scenarios, and have lead me to a few ideas. Anyone have experience with using ZJ UpCountry Monroe Sensatrac front shocks or 1986-92 Jeep Comanche Monroe Sensatrac part #37029 in the rear? I am looking at trying what this guy did minus the AAL, I want new packs. http://www.rocklizardfabrications.co...dget_boost.htm or go with the Rusty's 3" kit. http://www.rustysoffroad.com/rustys-...-pack-kit.html Is this kit all I need or would I have to get other items also? Extended brake lines, trans case drop, lower control arm or anything like that? Thanks for all the help! been loving this site.

Hey!
Soooo I am planning on lifting my 1998 Jeep Cherokee and I'm trying to decide between 3 inch and 4.5 inch. Aside from Wheel/Tire costs, what else would need to be upgrade on the 4.5 lift compared to the 3. Will it be that much more expensive?

So I am about to buy some wheels for my jeep. But I'm not certain what I need as I don't know much about wheels and back spacing and such. I have a 2001 sport xj. I currently have the stock steel wheels with 31x10.5x15 tires on it. After the bigger size tires I now rub on my lower control arms when turning sharp. What exactly do I need to space this out so this doesn't happen? I still want to stick with 15in wheels. Most likely I'll go with crager or pro comp steel rock crawler type wheels. Thanks for any help.
