I guess I'm just going to stick with my 35's then and just upgrade my d30/35 axles or should I if I can get them go ahead and at least put a ford 8.8 in the rear?

Get at least an 8.25 29spl in the rear and gear it before you put 35s on. Takes a lot of work to run 35s reliably.

You have any check engine lights? Also might post a new thread, you'll get more responses...

Hey Ill be getting a rough country 4.5 inch lift and my buddy has 33 inch nito desert tires, would this fit ok or would I need to do some trimming? Anything extra I would need other than the lift and tires?

Agreed, I currently have an 8.8 in the rear, its not geared properly yet but I will say the 3.73, factory posi and 31 splines are working perfectly, an also since I swapped in an ax15 I can pull 4.10 r&p out of a sport edition (or whatever had them) and be a little bit over geared for about 150$ in gears + master kit. But even as it stands, I can burn 35s and have no axle wrap (thank your ruff stuff 7" leaf perches) and no concerns about strength its not really even that hard of a swap

I am going to start my 3" lift this weekend but not sure if I have all the tools I may need.

I have already used the search engine with no luck.

Can someone provide a detailed list of what tools I will need. I know I can go out and do dry run but I am trying to avoid that route.

Thanks in advance

So the Chrysler 8.25 should pull 35's with no problem? And should I go ahead and upgrade my d30 to a high pinion d30?
