My 3.5 inch RE packs are great, ride good on the road, they sit right at 4 inches of lift, and compress to my bumpstops, and could droop more than my shocks allow them to. If you want more travel, go with a 3.5 inch pack and a 1 inch shackle rather than a 4.5 inch pack. As to your statement about long arms, froelich suspension makes an awesome 3 link for about 900 dollars, the kit is made so that you can adjust your links without removing them. You can also get it with either Johnny joints or heims.

Yea from what I read in other threads the track bar could be the issue. Thanks, I'll keep that in mind.

Awesome to hear I plan on a 5.5" at the most that way it compensates for my 36s better then my 3" will lol. Whats the difference between johny joints and heim joints?

So your 3 link isn't going to be long arms?
Or your saying you don't like radius arms?

I dont like the Y link that the long arms use just seems like the weld on the y is a major week point

Johnny joints will last longer, because they are greaseable but I don't think they have quite the range of motion or strength of heims.

Iron rock offroad is the only company that I know of that uses a welded on upper link on their radius arms. It's not weak, it's the castor adjuster at the axle end of the upper link that most people see as a weak link. There are plenty of aftermarket 3 and 4 link kits on the market, but if you just want to build your own, I say more power to you.

Sounds like the heim joint will be the better choice then

You can go with a 3.5" lift with minor trimming and fit 33s but ya its all the same suspension

Tighten the LCA's frame side. Sounds like they're slippin a little bit. The t bar will pop when u turn usually. And that's typically the bracket on the unirail.
