As far as beef goes theres no issue on that. He'd warranty anything if you managed to break it but if you did I'd eat my own shoe. If he went to triangulated 4 link I'm sure he'd make weld on mounts too.

I'll suggest it, possibly a remodel that could be done in stages.

if you go 6.5" ABSOLUTELY you will need an SYE and long arms. so consider that while shopping.

Don't encourage anyone to do anything that could end up with them in trouble with the law, forget that, don't even hint that doing so might be "ok" because its not enforced.
Thanks man, really appreciate that. I know all the things I need, I just wanted to make sure I wan't breaking any laws.

Rear leaf springs, SYE, longer rear drive shaft, longer shocks, pretty sure you need a new brake line, new control arms, i feel like im missing something, but thats a rough list.

after doing some fender trimming, my 31/10.5/15 tires are looking quite tiny and they are almost shot so I'm looking at getting a larger set. What is the widest tire you can put on an 8" rim? I've heard of people putting 33/12.5's on 15x8's and would like to know if anyone has/had this setup and how it looked and performed.

you can do 33x12.5s on 15x8s. I haven't run the set-up so I don't know how it would do.

Not encouraging anyone to do anything. He can do what he wants. Just saying there is a guy running around with a 13 inch lift. This guy could even have gotten tickets for it, but he has been around for a while and you would think that the cops would have taken it off the road by now if they would be enforcing this law.

And saying that is insinuating that its okay and he could get away with breaking the law. In my book that is no bueno.

Do I do everything by the book? No
Are there things on my rig that if Johnny Law looked into it I could potentially get in trouble for? Yes, but I don't discuss anything of that nature on a public forum where tree-huggers and the like can read it and then use as ammo for why we should lose our rights to wheel.

Keep that in mind when you post anything on a forum.

You could probably get away with a stock driveshaft. However I'd recommend getting an SYE and either buying a custom made Tom Woods shaft or using a re-built stock front shaft.

Just fine, you have to run tire pressure a little lower than normal to keep from wearing down the center, but other than that there's not a prob with em.

My 35x15 TSL's were on 8" wheels and never had a problem
