I have 1" shackles in at the moment right now with stock leafs and its still sitting higher in the front. So I bought a set of used springs from from an unknown year cherokee with unknown amount of miles. It had an old set of add a leafs that are obviously worn out in it already. I put in another new pro comp add a leaf in it but I'm worried having both add a leafs in will make the jeep rake way too much without adding spacers up front. What do you guys think.

What is the actual height of your lift? Is it a true 3" lift or did the kit just say 3"? Some ride higher so if it is closer to 4" than 3" you should be just fine.

I'm in the same boat as you. Trying to figure out how everything fits together is proving to be a pain in the butt. I might have to rethink my original plan of 'buy everything and put it all on at once' and modify it to just purchasing random things here and there as I need them.

Hey guys. I just got my BW flatties and smittybilt bumper installed. Im going to put some 4" bs aluminum wheels on it, and was wondering if i could fit 33's on on stock suspension height? I know i can do 31's, but with the extra clearance due to cutting 1 inch for the flare install, could i mall crawl on 33's? Ill try to post pics. I have 30's on now.

here they are
What do you guys think for a lift recommendation? I just bought a 2001 Cherokee sport with 70000 miles on it. I should be getting it back next week. It is 100% stock. The springs are not sagging. This will be a DD and should be a decent road ride and not be too brutal on gas other than whats usually expected with a Jeep as I drive 40 mi one way to work. It has to be decent offroad as well. I would like it to be good for things similar to the 3-5 trail rating for Jeep Jamborees. Fun, bit of a challenge but possible to do without serious damage. Probably won't be doing any serious rock crawling. just bouncing around in the woods while hunting. I was thinking 31's or 33's for tires but would like to not have to seriously change the driveline or chop the fenders. I may put bushwacker flares on at some point though. I was thinking a 3 in lift to keep from messing with the drive line. If you guys think I need to go to 33's on the tires I guess I would need a 4.5 lift along with some driveline mods. Either way I want to do this just once and it needs to be rock solid. I prefer a complete kit but am not opposed to buying specific parts as long they are worth it quality wise. I look at this as an investment in my future sanity but that doesn't mean there is no bottom to the pocket either. Thanks in advance for the help!
