Air bag only suspension is rare off road, air shocks on the other hand are popular on hardcore rigs

While I don't have personal experience with the RC leafs, from perusing around the forum the first major initial issue that some owners encounter is that the springs are too short, so a shackle relocation bracket is almost a necessity. I'm not about bashing a company's product, I'm sure many have ran the RC leafs with success, and I am running other RC products successfully. But I have heard some negatives. (uneven lift, eventual sagging, etc). Did you also get the RC shocks with the kit? Those are arguably the most important component relating to ride quality, and RC shocks aren't known to be fantastic.

I did get RC shocks as well. I was going to install the lift myself but now I'm taking it 4x4 parts to install so I'm expecting it to be at least an even ride for now. If I start having problems I'll starting exchanging parts to upgrade my lift. Got me freaking out now haha

For 3" lift, I would get extended links. Plus then you can upgrade to disco's right away

I'm lifting my 94 xj this weekend and I was curious if there were any common noises or things that people notice during the first bit of driving after the vehicle is lifted. I'm going up 3 inches and still riding 235/75/r15s until I wear them out. Thanks any extra Info would be great.

Which one should i get? Im getting 4.5" coils in the front just need some opinions on the rear. Specifically why one would be better than the other.

RE 4.5" leafs + no lift shackles or RE 3.5" leafs + 1" shackles?

I got the RE 3.5s and they are sitting at 4.5 or so right now. I'd do 3.5" leafs with a relocation box & shackles. You should be able to fine tune your ride a lot better, and adjust your height as needed with a shackle.
