Get some PVC and throw yourself together a cowl intake. If you've never heard of it their are plenty of how-to's on here. It will get you cooler intake air temps and prevent you from flooding your engine. It will be even cheeper and work even grater than that setup you've created.

opening and use 3" tubing to duct the air intake up to the cowl and then to the lower portion of the air filter box.
Not my pic, but a good example.

Ahh, I was thinking more along the lines of replicating the Spectre style cowl intake. The way you should would indeed be CHEEPER!

He'll have to go get another airbox to do that, since he already hacked his up to make a hot air and water intake.
