I am in the middle of installing a 3 inch zone lift and was having an issue with the lower control arms. I got (used), a set of pro comp lower control arms that are for a 3-4.5 inch lift. When i put them on the axle was pushed so far forward that the shocks would absolutely not line up. I ended up taking them off and putting the stock ones back on. I haven't driven on it yet so not sure how it feels. I am wondering if there is a good control arm that is a fixed length that would be good for a 3 inch lift? Thanks for the help.

 

I have RC fixed length since they came with my lift. About 1k miles on them and they seem to be a good fit. Perhaps the ones you have are not for the 3" lift. Do you have a part number for them?

If not you could get some adjustable ones

 

Is it possible that you just didn't adjust your caster shoe? My lcas are RE superflex fixed but came off a 4.5" lift and mine's perfect after adjusting my shoe

 

What do they measure eye to eye?
