Here's the situation:
I am pulling to the right and have to steer to the left to correct the drift.
My camber is -1.7* on my left and -1.0* on my right.
I have a 1996 XJ.
I have done a lift, however these measurements are the same as before the lift.
I have new Timken Bearings on the wheels.
I have a set of UNINSTALLED Spicer ball joints.
Here's my solution:
Install:
Specialty Products Company 23520 1.00° Ball Joint
Specialty Products Company 23530 1.50° Ball Joint
Here's my questions:
Will this fix it?
What is everyone's general consensus?
(extra?)
My logic from searching the forums and boards is that offset ball joints seem to do better than adjustable ones.
I checked to see if my axles were weebwobbling and they were fine so guessing that the "C" part of my axle that the ball joints go in is bent or that the axle housing is bent.
This is a temporary fix before I replace it I'm guessing.
Anything else I'm missing?
I'd like some help and advice before I tear everything apart.
I'm so very close to having it done to where I can drive long distances to go caving without being worried. It has been my favorite vehicle to play with. I know it because I want another....
Thanks guys. I'll even try to do a video or an end result and follow up.

You probably have something else going on as that little of a camber difference shouldn't cause it to drift. You may have a brake dragging. How was the toe on your alignment?

I'm more concerned about fixing that negative camber at the moment.
Will -.2° be bad on one side?

Yes you camber is out of spec but the only thing it will do is cause a little uneven wear in the inside of the tires. Currently I am at -.8 and -.4 you want some camber. I don't believe the track bar being off will cause it to pull as it just shifts the axle to the side a bit. I would fix the toe and see how it drives. If the alignment shop put it at 0 I would find another shop.
