Got mine from "Programbo" $120 for the 99+ intake manifold and a set of 703 injectors shipped to my door.Originally Posted by Slimgoaty
Guy here on the forum sells them, i'll double check his name. It was 100$ shipped to my door. From what my understanding is the 99 will net you about 13hp. Here's the logic; in 99 to meet stricter emissions the 4.0 dropped to 177hp, same as remix, to get that make the chrysler engineers focused on the intake and when finished ended back up at 193hp and 235tq, installing the intake on 4.0 with the less strict emissions will get you the difference, about 13hp and 10tq.

Your mpg's will drop a bit, but in my opinion dollar for dollar, the bored throttle body is the best performance upgrade for you buck. I'd get it before.Originally Posted by iron horse

Don't hurt MPGs if you drive sanely. Not necessary to get one with any other mod. Great bang for the buck as expressed above. Originally Posted by BrofessorXJ

Your MPGs will suffer a bit for the first tank full of gas because you're gonna play. Normal.

Lol that's what I meant by suffer because you're going to want to take anything that comes up next to you off the line and a lot you will successfully. You stomp on the pedal and it's there almost immediately.Originally Posted by cruiser54

Also do not get a throttle body there are countless people on here saying they're pointless. With one and the bored throttle body you're going to get a loud whistle when accelerating that is going to turn every ricers head.

How do you guys solve the whistle at 2500 rpm under a load on these bored tb's? I've just spent 2 days pulling it off 40 times trying different things. One guys claims he fixed his but didn't mention how it did it.
