Default adjustable arms question

how many inches do i set my adjustable arms for? i have 4.5 inches of lift and i set my lowers to a little over 17" and now cant get my uppers on

I think they should be about 16 1/2"

i did that and the and the uppers are set at 15 and they are still to short and the springs are bowing towards the front of the jeep

You could try shimming the upper 1/4"

Did you try using a ratchet strap to pull the axle back?

For me, the easiest way to rotate the front axle to line up CA bolts is to use a floor jack.

Put it under the track bar mount and as you go up or down, it rotates the axle to align the bolts.

The easiest way for me was to put the uppers on first, then attach ratcheting strap between the axle tube and the middle of the sway bar. Then you can tighten it up enough to get the lowers into place.
