Default Addition to a lift?

so right now i have a 4.5" zone suspension lift that includes:

add a leaf, new shackles, 4.5" coils, short arms, sway bar connects, 4.5" shocks in the back, new u-bolts in rear, just the bare minimums..

I want to add 5.5" or 6.5" full leaf packs in the rear, replace the shocks with longer ones. For the front I want to get 6.5" coils, shocks are good for the front for higher lift. Longer sway bar connects. Longer brake lines and 1 ton steering. What else should I be putting on? trying to save as much here, so the minimum is what im looking for.

You'll definitely need an adjustable track bar

Or get adjustable uppers and lowers. If you try to lift your stuff with the arms you have now it will put everything in a bind.

Adjustable are not as much. you could get a set for around 330. I have been wanting to do the same thing as you. But after its all said and done I am just going to spend the extra money to get the long arm upgrade kit.

He is still going to need longer uppers and lowers with those. those improve the ride but nothing for the flex. and by the time he buys those plus adjustable uppers and lowers he is in it 600 bucks. When the long arm upgrade is like 750.

First question is WHY? and you need a bunch of stuff to do it right, honestly even at 4.5" I would say you should have replaced a lot of stuff.

when I went from 3" to 5"+ (was supposed to be 4.5") I did shocks, track bar and double shear bracket (made or modified myself), longer shackles, new front springs, JK front upper and lower control arms (a lot stronger, better clearance and longer) with homemade frame side brackets (adjustable) shackle relocation brackets, lengthened the stock front sway bar links and converted them to have a farm pin disconnect setup. Got rid of the useless steering stabilizer, plated the axle side trackbar mount with 1/4" plate, clearanced the axle side track bar mount. longer brake lines front and rear, SYE kit and new rear drive shaft, added a ZJ pitman arm (1" drop) and when I made my trackbar and double shear frame side mount I set it up to match the ZJ pitman arm. SO yes it can be done but there is work to be done, and honestly there is you should be doing now if you want something just because it's tall go get a Chevy with 12"+ of lift stacked frames and a 3" body lift on 52" agros
