Longer is better. Not as stiff and usually will last longer. I've had good luck with aal's. Some don't.

Well I just scored a set of 3" lift coils on here for 50 bucks plus shipping now I'm trying to find the cheapest way to get the back sorted out without buying new springs which mine are wore out bad and with out getting taller blocks I already have 2" blocks and hate them. Where my springs have a negative arch would I be able to get a long and a short aal and get 3" and be able to maybe make the aal pack last

Go to the junk yard and get s10 packs. Use the main and the second in between your main and second and that will give you a stout 3" or just a tad higher. I have done it a few times and it works great. I can post up a couple pics if needed

X2 if you absolutely can't afford new packs do a bastard/junk yard lift. Id suggest saving and getting full packs.
