Hey all, looking for someone in the greater Vancouver area that can help me with some drive line noise issues.
1998 XJ with rubicon 4" lift (older kit) Have had the rear diff rebuilt, new rugged ridge SYE with proper drive shaft.
The noise is only under load (acceleration) and gets louder as I go faster. I think it may be the transfer case. I removed the rear drive shaft and drove in 4x4 and no noise.
Have no problem paying someone to rebuild transfer case. Just want someone that knows what there doing.
Thanks for the help.......

Well my problems finally got fixed today. Turns out it was a bad double cardand joint. The company that had originally rebuilt my drive shaft fixed it up free of charge.
I must say the guys at Pats Drive Line in Langley will have my business for a long time. They could have very easily have just said sorry not sure but it will cost you. Instead they brought in a mechanic on a saturday just to look at it.
Sure nice to have my jeep back on the road. Off to the mountains tomorrow.......

The Dana 44 has been in the truck for several years. The alignment is perfect. Pretty sure my problem is cured. Will see in the next couple months.
Now it's time to fix the front bushings of my worn out rubicon kit.

Good to hear. Im just across the border from you in Lynden. I make it up to Abbotsford all the time.
Definitely do some checking on your rear pinion angle. Make sure it points right at the double cardon joint.

if it doesnt point directly at it but you dont get any vibes, do you still run the risk of causing damage even though you dont feel vibes?
