#4 are you going to do the 4x4 swap at the same time of the lift or wait?
#5 if your going to wait what motor/tranny/rear end set up do you have now?
#6 if you do the 4x4 swap what motor/tranny/transfer case/rear end will you have?
Last but not least your going to need a SYE and or T case drop with any thing over 4.5" on a XJ (lucky me I have an MJ
)
Sorry I couldn't get to this any earlier

I know each case is different, but I have a 2wd (for now) that I lifted 3" and had some crazy vibes. It almost looked like my ds was going to fall out of the friggin trans. Had some solid steel blocks machined and dropped the crossmember about 1.25". No vibes after that and made the ds slide back in place.
Definitely need to go SYE after the conversion though.

I think you would be good with a drop and possibly some shims to get the right driveline angle, but like I said they're all a little different. Just go for it and make any adjustments that are necessary. Not that it would happen, but just in case, make sure to watch that tail shaft, a 60 mph pole vault would not be a lot of fun...

Some people put a shim (wedge shaped piece of steel) between the leaf springs and perch to correct the pinion angle. I have seen them anywhere from 2-6 degrees but I'm sure there is a wider range of options. Sorry I don't have a link, but a quick search on the ol' google machine should give you a better description and some sites that could give you a better idea if what you might want to look for.
