Took it to the mechanic today spun a bearing ......

I was also told after I got back from the mechanics shop that I shouldn't have went there because they don't know what they are talking about

Turns out it was the torque converter bolts, finally got in there and they were almost falling out. Thanks for the help

First guess would have been that you spun a bearing, that's what it sounds like when you do. But to know for sure, you'd have to take the oil pan off and inspect the crank.

Glad to hear it was something way less serious.

Any ideas how to prevent this from happening? I work at fastenal and sell vibra-tite and loctite, just wondering if anyone has used anything else?
