Default '96 Grand Cherokee Laredo - Purchase

I'm looking for a good hunting truck and found the '96 for cheap 108,000 miles.
It has a 2" or 2.75" (differs each time I ask the young owner) lift kit (coil spring spacers) and suffers from front end wobble.

What adjustments should have been made to the front end to compensate for the extra lift?

I'll go over all of the typical wear items up front, but wanted to know if I need to add any adjustable arms, etc. I'd rather not add them if they're not necessary.

Sounds like a budget boost, BB, and no special parts are needed for it. It's just spacers that sit on top of springs. It could be any measurement between 1-3" so the easiest way to tell is just measure it. The wobble could be a number of things? Joints, bushings, ends, alignment, wheel rim balance/condition. All can attribute to wobble. Have someone twist steering wheel from like 9:00 to 3:00 position while you look underneath for loose and worn ****. A lot of shops will put it on a lift and check it out for ya.

No need to add longer control arms with 2" lift. But will need an alignment.

I'm expecting that there are worn bushings, joints, ends, etc. and thats not a problem. I'll check all of that and all the U-joints and brakes too - replacing what it needs. Then I'll take it to this good front end shop nearby and get it set right.

After all that I hope to have some good times hunting with it and not having to worry about messing up my daily driver or the wife's 4X.......lol

Thanks for the feed back.
