96 cherokee overhead console wire up in a 87
i was wondering if any of you out there that have swapped the overhead console from the newer models into the older ones, know how to wire it up..so it will read temp and all that good stuff..i tried searching, and google..but no luck.

now i have another question, where is the thermometer sending unit located on a 96 xj?

i also did that mood your into , but mine was a lot harder couse i didnt had any at all , so i had to use the wires that came with the old lamps and use it to manage the computer of the overhead console in fact its really easy you can use the same print you post if your overhead did not came with computer plug as mine and each wire is numbered so you can solder it and take it to the temperature sensor for which you need to trow a line to the front grille and the compass will work automatically , as our jeeps dont have any fuel control sensors the estimate mpg will not be working at all , so only temp and compass are avaliave..
