95 HP Dana swap into 00 ?will it work?

so i have a 2000 xj with LP Dana 30.it has all new u joints and unit bearings and a spartan.one reason i want to swap for a high pinion is my pinion bearing is about shot.My father in law has a 95 parts jeep with a hp.can i gut my axle ( unit bearing axles with the bigger u joints and my locker and put new seals in the donnor ?will it all fit?i also have the stupid pre cats ,will this be a problem? thanks for any info. oh what about drive shaft length and any thing else im overlooking ?

Unit bearings won't work. Everything else should swap over though. Some run into issues with the pre cats, if you you're lifted it should be better though.

thanks guys im going to start gathering parts.are all the listed driveshaft's ujoints interchangeable? mine are new and i would like to swap them in the next shaft i get.my shafts slip joint has play in it but my ujoints are new spicer ones

does anyone know how to check for bent tubes?the donor jeep wad a trail rig that was rolled on the trail but not bad.just hate to do all the swapping and find out its bent
