I have the opportunity to pick up a locker for my whimpy 35 on the cheap, but it is out of a '94 cherokee. The guy didn't like the popping and clunking of a lunch box locker and took it out shortly after putting it in, I believe it is a lock rite. Would this locker work in my '89? I know shortly after my model year they started putting c-clip axles in but don't know exactly what year.

I'm sure it'll work. They didn't really change the d35's much at all Throughout their time in the xj's. My jeep had the d35 c clip rear end before I swapped it out and their isn't much difference in our jeeps.

New to the forum btw just simply love all the info on here :P
