Default 93+ throttle body on Renix?

I have a spare TB that I was going to have bored, but haven't gotten to it. I'd like to use that style on my Renix, and I was told you can make the switch.

Anyone have any info for me?

TPS sensor is different, TPS mounting is different, butterfly shaft is different.

This is what I did when I put a 99+ intake and throttle body on my Renix stroker.

I want to mount the "HO" tb and mount it on a Renix intake manifold.

Dealing with the TPS is the hard part... You just use a spacer/adapter to bolt the throttle body on. Or just drill and tap the intake manifold.

Nope. Never done it sorry. I would think it would be as easy as buying the gasket, laying it on the manifold and marking your holes.

What are the advantages of using a HO tb? Can you bore them larger than renix tbs?

Easier to bore, easier to find, no goofy notch preventing me from making my own snorkle.

Check out Hesco Performance. They make an adapter plate to bolt an HO tb onto the Renix manifold.
