i just picked up my second cherokee, its a 1984 2dr 4cyl 4 speed with 8.5" rustys coils and fox shock on 35" bfg mud terrains with bed lined interior and under carriage. i dont want the gutless 4cyl with big tires so saturday i am picking up a 1991 cherokee I6 4.0l ho with an automatic trans and all the other good stuff to swap it. i have a few questions about the swap and i would GREATLY APPRECIATE any feedback asap.

1. Will my np207 bolt up to the 91 automatic trans im getting so i can run that until i have the time and money to pick up an np231?

2. will the 4.0l bolt up to my stock motor mounts or should i take the ones out of the jeep im pulling the motor out of? (ill probably take them anyway if he will throw them in on the deal)

i dont want to put an absolutely ridiculous amount of time and money into it but id like to know what the swap would entail somewhat before i do it. i dont find much on it.
