In the process of putting the finishing touches on the XJ im building.
It appears to me that the clearance between the sidewall and the leaf spring is going to be marginal for winter V-bar tire chains. Right now its approx
1 7/16"
Smallest bolt on wheel spacer I can find is 1" which is more than the 8.8 is lacking but I'm not comfortable cutting the 8.8 studs down to and inch to bolt them on.
I did see a set of wheel spacers ( not sure the application) that just slides over the existing studs and is effectively a thick 1/2"-5/8" washer.
Anyone have any feedback on the thinner bolt-Less versions of the wheel spacers?
Has anyone seen one made for the 8.8 Axle with the correct hub size etc?
Thanks
