I have a 99 xj with an 8.25 in the back. I bought the locker for 800 with all the wiring/air lines/compressor and simply just swap the axle from a 2000xj to my 99...simple and saved a bit of money.

The passenger side axle seal is leaking and I have yet to take it apart to check but I haven't found the info I wanted searching yet.

I am curious if I can still access the bolt/pin and the c clips.

Yes you can, otherwise there wouldn't be any way to install the axleshafts.
