1994 Cherokee SE. 136k. Installed bosch 710 injectors, fuel pressure regulator w/ higher psi, and a new fuel filter.

Buddy and I got it to start and drove it around, but the CEL has been on ever since. Codes 12 & 22 show up when I do the manual ignition trick.

Could I have damaged my CTS? I just replaced it about a month ago. I resest the ECM, and don't know whether to wait out the full 50 start cycle or replace the CTS/sender. Initially drove pretty rich (which I heard was normal) but think it's been getting better.

It runs GREAT. Get better throttle response and idle. But having intermittent start issues.

Any thoughts would be great.

 

Very possible its right there coulda cracked it .

 

Turns out spark plug wire to ignition coil wasn't completely snapped in and the CTS wiring was somehow damaged. Sensor still in good working order. Easy fix.

Now everything running smoothly and no CEL!
