no you don't need to reset the pcm unless you have problems after the swap, or had very poor MPGs and running before the swap.

The computer relearns the A/F ratios quickly if you don't reset it - if you reset it it may take up to 50 warm up cycles to relearn and you'll be running rich most of the time.

703 and 784 are the same injector mechanicals with different connectors. Jetronic on the 703s is appropriate for XJs from 1987 through 1998 model years. Starting in the 1999 model year Chrysler changed to USCAR connectors, so 784s should be used.

You want 703s for your '98

$200, no. Buying a set of refurbed ones of programbo on here, yes. And you'll only see mpg gains if your stock injectors are dirty, an even them the gain is minimal.

No. People who see mileage improvements had dirty injectors prior to the swap.

What $200+ investment?

Ebay Seller: Masterinjectors

Can someone please help me with a part number for the service kits on the 703. None of my pintle caps can be reused and I want to replace the screens. I am trying to find locally since one of my injectors is leaking pretty bad

I use a wood screw that's slightly smaller than the inlet hole, screw it into the filter ~3/8", and pull hard with some pliers.
