Default 6in lift for 33s????

Call me crazy but I really don't see the need for that big of a lift to fit bigger tires. I kinda like the look of tucked tires and have gotten 33X12.50X15s to fit on 2 DIFFERENT JEEPS with absolutely 0 lift but contacting the body on hard turns and with 2 in front and 3 in rear contacting the body only if it bottoms out. I have street tires now but want 33s once I get gears and DEFINATELY want a long arm so I'm thinking 4.5 cuz I like to maintain my handling and lower center of gravity. I don't rock climb or anything so I don't really need the flex. Mud running and minor trail rides are my most extensive off road activities. Below is pics of my current XJ with 0 lift tucking 33s and a comparo pic of my 05 Z71 and the jeep with 2 in spacer/3 in shackle combo lift. Let me know if anyone has any opinions/input on my lift ideas. Remember this is my DD with a 60 mile daily commute

*edit* I say keep it low if its your dd, i like it the way it is with low/no lift and 33's. Just bumpstop to stop the rub

I dot't want help just opinions. I can stick the LS1 out of the TA in the background in this thing and make a 10 second hot rod if I want and ditch the whole lift idea but THAT'S a whole other set of opinions I'm not asking about at the moment

Just saying from your topic of the thread 6" for 33s just search around and read some. There is a lot of info on this topic. You don't need 6" for 33s can run it at 3.5" with some bump stops. One person I know runs 35s with just 3" lift and no rubbing

35s are pushing the stock XJ steering/suspension/subframe systems so I don't think I'll be going that big without some major mods. I just want it as big as my Chevy and not looking like a minivan

Actually I've hit up ebay for several things that I think came from y'all. I have my shackle kit (lowering shackle for Chevy) but I'm stock up on front end components but I'm not skimping here. Longarm kit for certain cuz I like riding like a Cadi
