i have a 4.5" lift as of right now, but im going to get a 6.5 in about a month but im trying to start buying stuff now. and i have been looking for extended brake lines and i can only fine ones for 6", will they not work for a 6.5?

and anything else you might suggest doing or i should buy?

look at YJ front brake lines too. should give you 4 inches longer than stock. and stock is usually good out to a 4.5 inch lift

Sort of an epic bump, but no need to make a new post.
Would these work, or am I looking at the wrong thing? - http://www.autozone.com/autozone/par...6_166223_5913_

Looking for cheap lines just in case I need to get longer ones for my 6.5 lift.

I came across something like that. That's where I found out the GMC lines which I linked. Are those what I need? Maybe it's just the pic, but they look short.

No problem! From that link you posted, I'm going to try and get a set of the GMCs.

"95 GMC c1500 2wd lines - 15$ each ( 4-5 inches longer )
Left - Napa PN #38620
Right - Napa PN #38621"

Thanks

Im at 6.5" of lift and I run Crown Performance 5 layer SS Brake lines that are made for a 4.5"-6" Lifted YJ. You can get them from Quadratec. A stock YJ line is 4" longer than a stock XJ line..... Soo a YJ SS line that's made for a 4.5"-6"Lift. Will be 4" longer than ones made for a 4.5"-6"Lifted XJ. Here's a link to them....... http://www.quadratec.com/products/12706_33X_PG.htm

Would those lines from NAPA be fine for now? $30 for a pair?

Well if I'm running stock lines, and those GMC ones are 4-5'' longer than it should be fine, I'd think, right?
