I ran YJ lines but when I went to 6" long arm I could play a tune on them at full flex as you can see in the pic.

I went with the gm 1500 2wd brake lines (year was 1995 I think) and they are more than long enough now. So if you want to make sure I'd go that route.

Actually the ss brake line supplied with the RE 3.5" is still long enough even at full droop.

yep - I just did yesterday.

the 90-95 (I used 93) sierra 1500 brakelines are Left and Right at advance, but they look the same - about 15 bucks a piece. About 6" longer

95-00ish (I used 96) dakota rear soft line - 6" longer - 25 bucks at pepboys (cause they had it in stock and were mounting my tires - saturday, had to be done)

I read somewhere that JK lines worked for the front basically plug and play? Can anyone confirm this?

I heard JK shocks will work for 2" lifts, so id imagine the brake lines are longer as well.

Yes, in 2011 the jk switched to really long front brake lines. They bolt right in and are longer than you will ever need.

Here is a pic of mine. This is with a 12" shock completely maxed out. And still plenty of slack

Only the 2011 lines are like this. The 2007-2010 lines are barely longer than stock xj lines

a word to those running the edge on stock lines. I could snap my stock lines with my 3" kit if I turned the wheel hard over. don't forget you might be turning while tweaked out. I went with some 20" RE lines I scored as over stock for $25. I'm at 4.5" now and they're working great! I need longer shocks now!
