5'' of lift. Brake lines?!
Yes, in 2011 the jk switched to really long front brake lines. They bolt right in and are longer than you will ever need.
Here is a pic of mine. This is with a 12" shock completely maxed out. And still plenty of slack

Only the 2011 lines are like this. The 2007-2010 lines are barely longer than stock xj lines

That's awesome. Auto Zone should sell them right?

95-00ish (I used 96) dakota rear soft line - 6" longer - 25 bucks at pepboys (cause they had it in stock and were mounting my tires - saturday, had to be done)

With my RC 4.5" I had I ran 24" Skyjacker Steel braided lines front and rear and they are unbreakable. Now with 8.5" lift they still are good.
If it brings more of an angle in the shakles I'd think the increased angle would eat the extra lift up, though. You can't "bend" the shakle from a straight angle to a 45* angle without losing lift if I'm understanding correctly.

last post on this as we need to stay on track of brake lines, but stock shackles it was 1.5" with the Tera Flex 1.75" lift shackle I got 2.5" but if you go back down to stock shackle I would imagine about 1" lift max
