Default 5 inch lift CA question

Installing a 5 inch lift (4 inch springs and 1 inch spacer). I'm also using trailmaster ca drop brackets. I've set my lca's at 16 inches and installed those. From what I can gather (I read that when using a CA drop to subtract 4 inches from the lift) my uppers should be 15-15 1/8inches. Now I have a set of rubicon express superflex adjustable upper CA's but they are 15.25 inches fully withdrawn.... Should I even try to use these or do you think I'd be fine using the stock 15 inch uppers?? I could always sell or trade these if I don't need them.... Opinions? I'm thinking I should just use the stockers....

Going to try it and see how it works if I can get these *%$@ UCA's to close all the way!!! Rubicons site says they go all the way down to 15.25 but both of them are stopping at 15 11/16.... Their website pic shows them fully closed though??? I even put a torch on them.... Guess I'll stick them in the bench vise tomorrow and get a bigger breaker bar and see what I can do....Just seems odd that both of them are freezing at the same point and otherwise turn freely...

Keep the RE uppers if you mean 15.25 at their shortest setting. If you have adjustable lowers, you can to adust them to get you caster and pinion angle set-up.

looks like RE lied on their website..... I pulled the female end all the way off and measured the depth of adjustment and they are bottoming out at 15 11/16.... I'm going to take my motaba and cut 7/16 of the thread off the male end so it will adjust down to 15.25 and install
