i'm another person with this problem, i've read about how to readjust the linkage but nothing has said anything about how our pivot points have pulled out. i just did the x-case drop like 3 weeks ago and haven't have 4lo since. there is a company novak that makes linkages for the np231 for jeeps, i think i'm going to check them out and do away with my linkage if i can't get it figured out.... i know this doesn't answer your question but i'll bump this up anyway

alright thanks. I just shoved my Pivot point back in for now. A little rough on shifting to 4lo but it works.

There isnt much you can do but buy an aftermarket kit that "might" fix it -OR- fab up your own bracket that bolts to your transmission which is adjustable (aka slotted mounting holes)

Tcase drop should be a temporary solution.

You can aways do a wrangler shifter. Works a lot better and accurate but say bye bye to center console lol

If you do a tc drop, you need to also lower the pivot point on the body side.

I'll find a link to the part later, but its just a flat piece of steel with holes in it. Real easy to fab

Check out bsfab.net . They have a write up for a simpler, easy setup.
