Default 4wd conversion question

I have every thing in meaning, tease, drive shaft, shifter, axle lol, and tranny. So now my last problem is the vacume part. I think the front Dana 30 is out of an 86 XJ. What do I need to do vacume wise to get every thing working properly? A diagram would be very helpfull. Thank you

Someone on here once explained that having the vacuum axle housing converted to use the axles from the non vacuum axle is actually a stronger setup.

I think the CAD cast housing is the weak point of that axle.

Disco axle housings are a little thicker to compensate for the disco area. Put a non-disco axle in place of the two disco parts and remove the bracketry and weld up the selector hole. No vacuum required.

I think you should read what BlueXJ posted. He better explained what I wanted to explain.

I don't know why but it seems there may have been a bit of a mix up when It
Comes to what year the front end is. But from what I've been told it is not a CAD axle tho. So now what's needed to get it to work seeing as how it's Not a CAD axle? Thanks

Really? So there's nothing to do with vacume or any thing? Huh... That's simple hopefully I'll beable to test her out some time this weekend.

Oh and I just ran it under the hood about 3' long. I'll make it longer I'm sure. The rear axle vent line I have run up all the way next to the tool box and same thing with the tranny. Now all I need to do is put the snorkel one

Thanks again guys!
