4bt swap

i am looking into swapping a 4bt cummins in my 1994 jeep cherokee but i dont know what all i need to do it someone told me i need a lift and other stuff i have a 6.5 rustys lift and will a stock tranny work and do i have to change my front and rear axels any help would be nice thanks

You need a lot of stuff. There is an old mercedes diesel that people like to swap into cherokees. OM617 I believe. You might look into that

i just got a 96 and an 01 cherokee that i was planningto throw a 4bt into as well.i just dont know s*it about jeeps, i could use some advice, i wentto the 4btswap.comand couldnt find the answers to any of my questions
