4bt cummins swap

Engine: 4.3l v6
I am thinking about swapping out my 4.0l high output for a 4bt cummins can anyone help me out on what tranny I should use along with transfer case, axles, gears, and differeintials thank you

didnt realise it was so hard to use. Youll need massive reinforcment of the unibody and some fab skills to fab mounts and possibly adapters.

well you are putting in a much heavier motor with much more torque, what do you think is going to happen.

A 4BT is a loose term, the one in the bread trucks is a 3.9L. You can get a 3.3 from a generator, it is much lighter, I think it's dang near the same as the stock 4.0.
