Not to be a dick, but there is tons of info out there on this. There are lots of routes you can take to make all kinds of power. I looked pretty deeply into it back in the day. There are homebrew strokers, kits you can buy of all levels, even complete crate motors.

A few years ago, there was an episode of "Trucks" where did a project "Cheap Jeep." They dyno'd the tired 4.0, then stroked it. Used a Dremel on the head around the valves to lower compression. I think they ran 89 octane in it. They dyno'd it after. Big difference. Most of that episode is on YouTube, I think.

dont swap in a chrysler 5.2/318, if its one from a grand cherokee or dodge dakota or similar you aren't gaining much power from the swap. the stroker will be bolt in and much less of a headache. you can build one to run on 87 octane, just gotta do your research.

I could probably get away with 89 at my elevation of 4300 ft. but I want to feel right about getting on the gas Good luck! I am hopefully installing mine in 2 weeks! (all assembled and ready to put it)
