i got a 4.6 stroker out of my old 93xj n just picked up a 97xj can i swap the motor in and use all the electronics/sensors for the 4.6. my only concern is emissions n plugging the truck in for inspection. i also dot kno if the computer will read the motor bc its a obd1 motor going into a obd2 xj. if it doesent work im gona have to sell the motor.

i also have a 5.5 rubicon express lift for the xj its a 5 speed n i swapped in 355 axels, will they work well with 33s and a 5speed? i havent drove the truck yet due to the motor being blown

You will have to use all the sensors electronics and manifolds off the 97 but you don't have to change anything. The 3.55 gears I think would work great with 33's.

Should be a straight forwad swap. Use all the 97 stuff

I haven't been on cf in a while I did the swap about a year ago and its bad ***. Ill post pics soon. And i picked up a 95xj. It's got a 505 4.7 stroker. If anyone's intrested I got a 505performance turbo kit for sale and I think pre 96 accel computer ignition kit. Turbo kit was 2500 new ran it on my xj for less than a year and i parted a few things out. just got the turbo intercooler and down pipe. Im asking 1200obo. Ignition Kit new was $1500 bought it for my other xj asking $1000 brand new in box with harness and cd rom tuner plug and computer. I will sell them together for $1800
