From the FSM: "Rocker arm assembly to cylinder head torque" 19 ft/lbs. No mention of "clocking".....That's GM and ford stuff.
As far as the stethoscope, my advice is use one on YOUR engine where you are. Let us know what you find.
Those videos never sound right anyway. Can't expect much good advice from those things.
If this is being a smartass, let us know.

Maybe you should have led with this info, instead of acting like a snob. I just want some opinions from people who know what I'm talking about. I don't need to be clowned for using terminology that you don't agree with. I think people knew what I meant. Thanks for playing...Originally Posted by cruiser54

Man, you are so off base, it's unreal. I don't have time to play around on forums. I wasn't "acting" at all.
Get over it.
I happened to be on my way out the door when I posted. I wasn't sure what "clocking" meant in your vocabulary. Just making sure.
I'm not some paid customer service rep, ya know. Not sitting at my PC all day with nothing else to do.
Was my advice bad?

Wow. Stop thinking everyone is out to get you on the internet. If you only knew who you're talking to, or took the time to ask what he meant you might have been pleasantly surprised by the results, instead of ignorant and uppity. Cruiser knows these motors better than most, both stock and modified. You have two ears and one mouth, and they're best used in proportion.

I know when someone's being a dick man, so go about your business so the next guy can get some shots in. he knew wtf I was talking about and decided to flex his knowledge. I'm not impressed with him or you. I've been on enough boards to know how it works. Some guys just need to be superior. Everything was just fine until the "moderator" showed up. How does a picture of a girl wearing a stethoscope contribute to the thread? Then a snarky question? You have nothing to say about it...Originally Posted by roninofako

And some people need to calm the **** down. Get over yourself. Nobody was "flexing" here, and I could give a rats if you remotely think I'm trying to impress you. Claws came out after YOU started acting the jackass...thread closed, I don't have time for BS.
And, FU and your edit, that's his granddaughter working on his jeep with him, you ***
