So I just got a 4.5L jeep motor that has 250psi to the heads. Its putting out about 475 horses. I need help locating a transmission rebuild kit that will be able to withstand the power and a tcase rebuild kit as well. Any tips or special "touches" people have learned or know on rebuilding these would be greatly appreciated

What transmission and transfer case do you have?

Woah. That's a lot of power for a pushrod straight six without boost. At that point, I'd buy an adaptor and shoe-horn a TH400 in there.

250 psi static compression would equate to about 12:1 compression. That would be crazy if it was 250 psi dynamic compression! Or 25 psi boost would be cool too.

Would like to know more specifics about this engine as I cant say I have seen a 475hp NA Jeep straight 6.

Could be...just never heard someone refer to their engine as 'having 250 psi to the heads' for static CR

This engine was built at motor works in spokane WA, I currently work there. It's a stock 4.0l that was bored 30, has a brand new scat crank, has an rv cam and the block was decked. It has 250 psi compression. If you dont believe it be at the mud bogs this upcoming spring and you'll see this beast all over the place
