RC has had a lot of issues with bushing failures as of late.

It is also a radias arm setup.. which means even though they have uppers.. they only have 2 bolts holding the axle in place.. plus your trac bar.

I know a 3 link is only a third better... but still better. I have never heard of anyone haveing a Rock krawler joint failure.

RC/Rusty's and IRO are all bottom shelf low buck stuff. fine for a mall crawler, but sketchy if you wheel hard. Remember just like everything in life you get what you pay for.

RC and Rustys both seem to be plagued by the same issues in their joints.

What are the mounting points for your 3rd link?

The upper link mount.. guess you never researched Rock Krawler before you started pimping those other products.

SOlid 2" lower links... hiems joints at frame ends... poly bushings at lower axle.. flex joint on the upper.

I did but the cost was out of the realm for my mall crawler. I got my RE long arm used for about what a RC upgrade would have cost me.

I was just asking because I have never seen a good picture of how/where the 3rd link mounts - particularly on the frame side. I know their system is a good one hence my curiosity.

8-9 rated trails are the start of ridiculous ...infact very brutal for 33's with 4.5 lift and no lockers or just 1 rear or limited slip ...Carnage Canyon is a 9-rated trail ...

Hope you have lots of trail armor.... and very patient ppl with you on the trails.

Sure a lesser built jeep can run higher rated trails.. but at what expense.

Been running thier 3 links now for 5 yrs.. I have had ZERO failures. Ppl often ask me why I run their products instead of making my own. SO I have to explain. I also get tired of ppl pimping lower grade equipment cause they bought it.. and think it is great, cause they dont know any better.

One of my set ups is 5 yrs old.. wheeled stupid hard, and put up. I also called them and had them do my a custom set for my truggy and had them make it longer.. no issues for them.. in fact the upcharge was so small I lmost felt bad about not paying more.

The trails and ppl I run with.. would probrably run you off if you couldnt keep up. Its one thing if you are somewhat built trying to keep up but stock.... yeah I DONT THINK SO.

Just because it is cheaper does not mean it's "lower grade".
But hey, it's your money, do what you want, but don't diss others for wanting to save some money. Have you run any of the cheaper lifts? Have you actually experienced one "break" that wasn't due to user/installer error? It's not like these are $100 lift kits that are made in china...

Big difference between a 6 rated trail , And say Independence trail ,which is also a 9-rated trail ... If you ran Independence or Carnage on 33's and open or limited slip you would be in a for long long day of mostly winching and pumping up your Biceps from a ton of rock stacking ...Just saying 9-9+ rated trails are the Extreme 4x4 trails , And it just grabbed me funny when you say you want 33's 4.5 lift with long arms to just run mild trails of a 9 rating , which pretty much destroy a Jeep on 33's .
