4.56 gears

i have a 99 xj sport with d30 in front and c8.25 in the rear. want to get 4.56 gears and a install kit, where can i get them and whats the difference between just a regular set and reverse cut??

You need reverse for your front axle since it's a High Pinion D30.

Don't forget that the ring gear bolts on your Chrysler axle or LEFT HAND THREAD.

Don't forget if you are going to 4.56 gears from 3.55 or3.07 gears you will need a locker! (new carrier

) for the Dana 30

Good Call....
The Dana30 carrier will need to be replaced with the correct carrier or locker.

The 8.25 carrier will work for the 4.56....there's no carrier break.

Why not do the 30 spline upgrade as well while your at it?
