I run a 4.5" RE lift and currently 33x1250's. I wouldn't hesitate to run 35's on my setup. If you properly bumpstop and trim accordingly (which I had to do for 33's anyway) then you'll be fine.

its a pretty common setup actually
full turning radius and no loss of flex

I have only seen you when you have gotten air on your xj as far as pics go.

4.5" Lift on 35"/12.5" Wide Tires
And a little saggy in the back~
Now compare that amount of clearence with mine, I got 4.5" Rough Country and I am running 31" and I still bend my fenders when I go wheeling.Originally Posted by B.Friend

and this is my flex before I cut my fenders

so the question is how much flex do you want? Or which is best for you? I am just offering a different opinion

How're your bumpstops gearheadette?
Here's my rig (4.5" and 33's) pretty stuffed, no fender rubbing, proper bumps stops. I'd do 35's with this setup, and extend the bumpstops a little more and not have many issues. The trimming isn't crazy.

Not being a smart alack at all, I have no idea what happened on your last time out Originally Posted by gearheadette

I was asking how much bumpstopping you have for the amount of lift that you have. If you haven't properly set your bumpstops then your axle is going to continue to stuff up into your wheel well regardless if you're running 31's or 33's. It looks like your 31's stuff really far up into your wheel wells from the pictures that you posted, to the point that they look like they rub your fenders, especially if your wheels are turned.

Thanks for the pics of the ones with 35's on em' guys. Im going to attempt it with 35's...worst it will do is not work and I have to buy some 33's ??. Also Trapper...me not "rompin" on it probly aint goin to happen. Ive got a tendency to break some **** and be heavy on the carnage factor

Rubbing your fenders from too much compression will usually stop you from going up that ramp any further, right? with bumpstops to stop the compression just before the tire hits the fender you can continue to go up that ramp as long as your other tire continues to droop. Bump stops, long arms, longer travel shocks, longer brake lines, limiting straps, less restrictive steering and track bar setup = mad flex Originally Posted by gearheadette
