Default 35 spline D60

SO does it just require a 35 spline carrier/locker to run 35s instead of 30s? or is boring of the spindles neccesary?

in the front you can run 35 innards and 30 outer

and yes 35 spline carrier/locker

in the rear, if it is a Full float just swap the shafts and carrier/locker. then make sure you have the proper bearings (always good to do a re build anyhow)

Cant remember even if the axle bearings are different, when I rebuilt my FF out of a 79 ford f250 (SRW) i just asked for 35 spline bearings and the guy got them.

they are simple to work on.

chances are your going to need to bore out your spindles so the larger shafts will fit

35 spline shafts only came standard in the snow plow option or d70's.

Randy's Ring and Pinion used to sell a boring tool. If you look on pirate and search you should be able to find all the info you need.

As for your brakes, I would seriously consider doing disc brakes especially if you have to redo you drum brakes. I just did a disc brake conversion on my 9" and for under 100 bucks I was done.
