Default 3" rustys lift

I'm considering adding a 3" rustys lift along with the budget boost shackles that add 1 3/4 inches more lift. Im wondering if a gear ratio change is necessary. I'm planning on running stock tires until I have money to run 33" tires on it. Can anyone help me out? Thanks very much.

I am running tires that measure just over 33" on an automatic and stock gears... just have to switch to 3rd instead of D on the highway

you will only want/need to regear once you get larger tires

So I can't go any faster than 3rd gear on the highway ? And what should I regear to? Which gears?

you wont want to go into overdrive on the highway with 33s because your transmission will keep shifting. when you go 33s get 4.56 gears.

Doesn't sound too complicated. Any tires you recommend that go well on your rig?

I would also like some suggestions on tires but on the stock wheels or maybe some very cheap rims.

what do you guys think about wheels spacers?

for the same price of some decent spacers you can buy some steel rims with better offset and less prone to damage on the trail. tires depend on the use. i have duratracs on my KK and they are pretty good on the trails here in florida. i have over 10k on mine and they are wearing well and are quiet on the road.

Sound good. You run all terrain tires or mudders on your rig?
