Default 3" Rough Country lift side effects

I installed a rough country 3 inch lift. Came with rear leaf springs, front coils, new shocks. I also installed new lower control arms non adjustable. I noticed when I was done the back sits higher than the front. Is this normal?

how much higher? It should settle a bit after you drive it awhile.

I installed that same lift kit on my 1999 XJ. Did that about 7 years ago. The good and the bad news. Mine leveled out fine, even after all these years it is still level. Now for the bad. The shocks busted out. Well, not the shocks, but the rubber bushing at the ends. They lasted about two years if that. I called them and sure, they were willing to sell me new ones at the same price. SURRRRRRE. I don't think I had put only about 2k miles in that time. My XJ is not a DD. Just an extra.

Another thing that I had to do when I installed that kit was install a bunch of washers to were the cross brace at the transmission, dropping it about an 1". I did swap out those bolts with grade 8 bolts. That took care of some vibration I had.

Would I install another one of their kits? For a first timer, yes. But what I know now, NO!
