Exclamation 3" Rough Country Lift Leaf Sagg Rep

93" XJ
I have a five year old Rough Country 3" lift with full spring kit and the rear leafs are flat. I haven't towed and mostly DD. The stock leafs had more lift than these now. I hope this isn't the norm for RC and am hoping the company rep can help. I'm on a budget like a lot and counted on a quality product and want them to back their product. No curve and I'd like to know our forums representative to find a solution to this.. I paid good mulla and this is very is disappointing thus far.
Please chime in all and wide..

Yeah dude, you're likely going to get a lot of sarcasm about this. Almost everywhere you look on the forums you're going to see how frowned on RC is ESPECIALLY their leafs and coils. RC is one of the cheapest kits you can buy, therefore quality isn't the right word to use. I understand that buying new leafs aren't cheap, but you have to drop dough if you want them to last. BDS has a lifetime no questions warranty if you want to check them out. Or make a bastard pack with s10 springs if you want cheap, but that is going to sag over time as well.

I'm well aware that RC doesn't have the best rep when it comes to quality and that not everyone has the skills, resources to build a bastard packs or bankrolls to drop a grand on a lift. I'm surprised at the fact they failed after five years, well the shi**y OE lasted 15 years. I'm also surprised at the lack of support from a company that's lasted as long as it has as well as the lack or support from this thread. I thought this was supposed to be a community of XJer's to help other XJer's.

I think you can find replacement full packs for about $250 for the set. RC is the starter to lift kits, normally I hear of "inchitis" when I hear of a RC lift, and that seems to happen quite a bit.

You may be able to add shackles to the rear leafs. I thought about doing that to get a couple more inches on my lift.

Have tried calling RC directly?
How about using the contact info on their website?

T/Y for the reply. At this point RC will do nothing and replacement will be the route I'd prefer and leaning toward RE springs. I'd like to stay with LCG and 3.5-4in.

I guess the point of this thread was to hopefully get some direction on a fix and perhaps inform the next guy looking for a lift on a budget. Back then I thought I was making a good choice on a full leaf pack lift kit that would at least outlast a pair of skivvies...no such luck I'm afraid

If you end up having to buy them yourself I personally would buy from Rustys. I have been impressed with both his coils and leafs, I bought the 3" full spring package with the up-graded front coil 180# intended for a winch bumper combo zero sag 2 yrs really still at 3". My rear leafs even after being loaded quite heavy with cargo all the time and a spare tire/HD rear bumper. When I unload all the cargo and measure it still measures 2 7/8" but they come a little over 3" as do most.

His springs are AMERICAN MADE! Not China JUNK as some brands that will remain unnamed.
